Job summary

BTAS, Inc. is seeking a Senior SSA Operations Engineer to support Space Systems Command programs from our Colorado Springs location. The role requires active TS with SCI eligibility and is full-time, 40 hours per week, with a salary range of $135,000 to $181,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Operational SSA engineering support experience at the fielding level.
• Deep knowledge of space situational awareness operations, data gathering and anomaly resolution.
• TTP development and modification experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide Space Acquisition and Technical Support across acquisition life cycles.
• Draft and update JCIDS and other acquisition documents.
• Prepare SME-level status reports on programs or portfolios.
• Identify and recommend process improvements and risk mitigation plans.
• Monitor program execution, schedules, and risk implications.
• Support technical engagements and interface with customers/contractors.
• Assess mission protection, operations and readiness; analyze technical anomalies.
