Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Morrisville, NC seeks a Space Software Engineering Manager to oversee the full software lifecycle for complex systems. You will lead a matrixed team of engineers, ensuring technical excellence and alignment with program goals.

The role requires a strong background in C++ or Python, Agile practices, a DoD Top Secret clearance, and experience with large-scale distributed software, AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other STEM degree with extensive software experience (+8 years).
• Progressive software engineering/ development experience in C++ or Python with SDLC leadership.
• Experience leading a software development team and creating Agile roadmaps and plans.
• Experience with distributed software development of large-scale systems and modern CI/CD toolchains.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical oversight through the entire software development lifecycle.
• Lead and coordinate a matrixed team of software engineers; guide performance and career development.
• Participate in proposal generation, staffing allocations, and recruiting activities.
