Job summary

Sierra Space is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to design, develop, and test software for space systems. The role requires expert multi-language software skills, architectural leadership, and the ability to drive complex projects end-to-end.

You will mentor engineers, lead system derivation and verification activities, and help define software policies to support scalable, secure space technologies. A Top Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Advanced degree highly preferred in CS or Software Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Plan and drive multidisciplinary system development initiatives.
• Architect comprehensive software systems for space technology.
• Lead development milestones and manage system integration and verification.
