Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, or related field.
• Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
• 10+ years engineering leadership and software dev experience.
• Experience with C++, C#, Java, Groovy, or Python.
• MBSE and SysML knowledge; DoD space systems experience.
• Agile/Scrum experience; modern dev tools (GitLab, Jira, Confluence).

Responsibilities

• Lead full SDLC from requirements analysis through deployment and support.
• Develop software prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions.
• Participate in Agile planning, code reviews, testing, debugging, and sprint activities.
• Support system architecture, design, and engineering decisions.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, including system designs and requirements.
• Recommend software enhancements and system improvements.
• Collaborate with software engineers, system engineers, architects, and cross-functional teams.
• Design and implement secure software solutions and cloud-based applications.
• Support MBSE activities.
• Develop and integrate space and ground system software solutions.
• Apply cybersecurity best practices throughout software development.
• Utilize version control and Agile development tools.
• Support continuous improvement and adoption of new technologies and engineering methodologies.
