Job summary

E‑Space in Saratoga, CA is seeking a Senior Defense Systems Engineer to lead cross‑discipline technical engagements and ensure traceability from requirements through verification for space radar systems.

You will integrate radar, sensor, command‑and‑control, and mission‑processing elements in operational environments, manage interfaces, decompositions, risk, and lead multi‑discipline teams while coordinating with government stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required.
• Experience integrating radar, sensor, command‑and‑control or mission‑processing systems.
• Proven requirements decomposition, interface management and risk handling.
• Ability to lead government and multi‑discipline technical working groups.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance at Secret level.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical engagement with Government site, mission, operations, maintenance, and infrastructure stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain legacy‑interface inventories, site‑assumption logs, mission threads, constraints, and verification needs.
• Trace the solution to all three core missions and identify gaps before SRR.
• Coordinate architecture, requirements, MBSE, RF, software, cyber, test, and site‑integration decisions.
• Own closure plans for legacy‑site and mission‑integration risks and present evidence at technical reviews.
