Job summary
VT Group (VTG) seeks a Space Protection Operations Engineer to support the Air Force and IC customers, delivering systems engineering and advisory services for next‑gen space architectures. The role acts as the SPO on-site liaison with operators and SMEs to enable testing, transition planning, and O&M support.

Qualifications
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Poly.
- Bachelor’s and 9+ years of experience; master’s and 7+ years; extensive experience may substitute degree.
- Experience in IC or DoW space acquisitions or mission operations.
- Experience deploying and sustaining software within a 24/7 operations center or similar environment.
- Knowledge of agile software development principles.
Responsibilities
- Serve as SME and SPO representative coordinating with end users and developers for deployment of new protection capabilities into space operations.
- Engage with operators to collect capability needs and UI/UX preferences.
- Collaborate with software developers to guide mission app enhancements.
- Lead transition of new capabilities and software deliveries to operations.
- Lead review and coordination of system documentation and training materials.
