Job summary

Redwire is seeking a Senior Project Manager for an onsite role in Littleton, CO, to lead space missions programs. You will drive program leadership, schedule and budget, manage suppliers, and coordinate with government agencies and partners.

Must be able to obtain a security clearance and be a US citizen or eligible for ITAR. Ideal candidate has 8+ years in space systems or defense project management, strong communication, and proven leadership in high‑risk, multi‑discipline teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in space systems or defense project management.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance and US citizenship or equivalent ITAR status.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in high-reliability, mission-critical environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, Gantt charts, and milestone tracking aligned with program objectives; ensure cross-functional alignment through clear communication and expectation setting.
• Manage supplier and subcontractor deliverables related to hardware, tooling, and test systems, including relationship management and issue resolution.
• Serve as primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies and commercial partners; maintain strong customer relationships.
• Lead and mentor project teams; develop budgets, schedules, and resource plans; provide monthly variance reporting on ETC and EAC.
• Ensure projects comply with internal QMS and AS9100 requirements; identify and mitigate risks and scope creep.
