Job summary

Redwire Space Missions, LLC in Albuquerque seeks a Sr. Project Manager to lead DoD and commercial satellite programs from concept through on-orbit operations. You will oversee bus, payload, integration & test, and launch coordination, ensuring alignment with technical, schedule, and contract requirements.

The role is onsite in Albuquerque with a 25% travel expectation and a need for DoD clearance or ability to obtain one. Strong leadership and cross‑functional coordination are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience managing satellite or spacecraft development programs for DoD, NASA, or commercial space customers.
• Experience delivering SDA, U.S. Space Force, AFRL, or similar government space contracts.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and US Citizenship or ITAR-qualified.
• Active or ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead DoD, SDA, and commercial satellite program execution to meet contractual requirements.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, and cross‑functional alignment.
• Oversee hardware, bus, payload, integration, test, and launch campaign activities.
• Manage EVM principles where required for government programs.
• Coordinate with government customers, suppliers, and integrators; ensure security compliance.
• Provide monthly variance reporting on ETC and EAC; manage budget and resources.
