Job summary

McCallie Associates, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC, seeks a Senior Program / Operations Manager to lead contractor support for Space Force missile warning, tracking, and defense. The role sits at Los Angeles AFB within Space Systems Command, guiding a multi-disciplinary team of engineers across satellites and ground systems.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in DoD/IC programs with contractor leadership, strong program management skills, and the ability to brief senior leaders

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility at start of employment.
• Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible experience managing or leading DoD or IC space/missile/sensor programs, with at least 5 years in contractor leadership.
• Experience managing teams of 20+ technical personnel under firm-fixed-price, T&M, or cost-plus-fixed-fee contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead the contractor team supporting a Space Force missile warning mission area.
• Serve as the senior contractor point of contact for Government Mission Director, Division Chief, COR, and Contracting Officer.
• Manage workforce assignments, surge coverage, leave, and substitutions; maintain workforce stability.
• Participate in and lead Government program reviews, IPT sessions, and working groups.
• Provide senior input to Space Force planning and budgeting cycles, including POM exercises and spend plan reviews.
• Forecast, manage, and control task order costs including travel, ODCs, and labor utilization.
