Job summary

Redwire Space Missions, LLC seeks an experienced Sr. Project Manager in the Denver area to lead DoD and commercial satellite programs, delivering space vehicles, payloads, and ground segment products.

This onsite role at the Littleton, CO office requires active DoD clearance or ability to obtain one, travel up to 25%, and close coordination with government customers, suppliers, and integrators. You will develop plans, manage budgets, apply EVM where required, ensure cybersecurity and ITAR

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics or related field.
8+ years managing satellite/spacecraft programs for DoD, NASA or commercial space customers.
Active DoD security clearance or ability to obtain one.
US citizenship or eligibility for ITAR requirements.
Willingness to travel ~25% and onsite in Littleton, CO.

Responsibilities

Lead execution of DoD, SDA and commercial satellite programs with government interface control.
Manage spacecraft development including bus, payload, integration, test and launch coordination.
Oversee Earned Value Management where required for government programs.
Develop detailed project plans, Gantt charts and milestone tracking.
Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders; manage risks and issues.
Ensure cybersecurity, OPSEC, ITAR and government reporting obligations.
