Job summary

Rocket Lab in Albuquerque, NM seeks a Senior Program Manager I to lead full program lifecycles from scope through closeout. You will coordinate engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to deliver complex space programs on time and within budget.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of program management experience in a tech setting, with strong communication and leadership skills. Travel domestically/internationally may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management or related field.
• 5+ years of related experience, including project/program management or managerial experience with large cross-functional projects in a tech environment.
• Experience managing Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contracts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the principal point of contact for customers and stakeholders.
• Manage the full program lifecycle: definition, planning, execution, and closeout.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to specifications.
• Identify and mitigate risks; communicate progress to executives and staff.
