Job summary

Sierra Space is seeking a Sr. Program Manager to lead a program or IPT with end-to-end accountability for cost, schedule, and technical performance. You will coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, finance, and operations to ensure successful outcomes and compliance with contract requirements.

Ideal candidates bring extensive program management experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a track record of delivering complex space programs on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Extensive program management experience (typically 12+ years).
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and financial acumen.
• Experience with cross-functional teams and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead a program, IPT, or portfolio with responsibility for cost, schedule, and technical performance.
• Develop and maintain program plans, budgets, and schedules.
• Communicate risks, status, and performance to stakeholders and leadership.
• Mentor junior managers and drive process improvements.
