Job summary

Loftorbital is looking for a Senior Product Systems Engineer to own the architecture of their offerings, bridging ground, space, software, and hardware. You will define operational structures, coordinate discussions, and ensure coherent processing chains.

Ideal candidates will have a strong engineering background, experience in systems architecture and coordination, and be able to clearly document technical frameworks. The position emphasizes cross-functional teamwork and will influence Loft's entire product ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Strong systems engineering background in complex technical products spanning software and hardware.
• Experience working at the boundary between architecture definition, requirements structuring, and engineering implementation.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional technical work across several teams without relying on direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Help define the general architecture of Loft’s offering across ground and space.
• Support capability allocation across hardware, software, and flight components.
• Contribute to CONOPS, ICDs, architecture notes, and related technical documentation.
