Job summary

ASRC Federal seeks a Space Portfolio Solution Architect to lead design and integration across a portfolio of federal space programs. The role ensures architecture consistency, interoperability, and alignment with enterprise strategy while collaborating with program leadership and capture teams.

The candidate will develop roadmaps, assess emerging technologies, and apply digital engineering principles to deliver compliant, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 10+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• 3+ years of experience working as a Solution Architect leading solutions for federal government Space opportunities and proposals.
• Experience supporting customers such as USSF, AFRL, NASA, NOAA, or other DoD/IC Space organizations
• Demonstrated experience designing and delivering enterprise or portfolio-level technical solutions for federal customers.
• Strong understanding of Systems Engineering for Space Systems, Digital Engineering, and Government acquisition processes.
• Experience supporting capture, proposal, and business development activities.
• Strong communication, collaboration, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
• Must have ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and integration of solutions across a portfolio of federal programs and projects within the Space OG or Division.
• Ensure consistency, standardization, and reuse of architectures across the portfolio.
• Align portfolio solutions with enterprise strategies, customer mission requirements, and organizational objectives.
• Develop portfolio-level technology roadmaps, modernization strategies, and solution frameworks.
• Assess and recommend emerging technologies, architectures, and capabilities to improve mission effectiveness.
• Apply Systems Engineering and Digital Engineering principles to proposed solutions.
• Engage with federal customers, program managers, and stakeholders to understand mission priorities.
• Lead technical solution development for space opportunities and proposals within the portfolio.
• Provide technical guidance during solution reviews and customer briefings.
• Architect end-to-end solutions that integrate systems, cloud, cybersecurity, data, and apps.
• Ensure solutions comply with security, compliance, and enterprise architecture requirements.
• Develop architecture diagrams, implementation plans, roadmaps, and integration strategies.
• Promote interoperability, scalability, resiliency, and maintainability across portfolio solutions.
• Lead architecture reviews, workshops, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the portfolio.
