Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Sr Analyst Space Planning to partner with Merchandising on space planning and analytics. You will design planograms, support the merchant with analysis to optimize assortments, improve turns, and maximize profit.

You will collaborate with space analysts, store planning, visual merchandising and project managers on resets and MET projects, ensuring timely inputs and escalating issues when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Experience analyzing large data sets.
• Retail industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and build planograms aligned with merchandising strategy and standards.
• Analyze space productivity, pricing, inventory turns and margins to inform recommendations.
• Attend weekly cross-functional meetings to contribute to strategic merchandising plans.
• Identify and communicate assortment opportunities and seasonal targets.
• Monitor tests and analyze results for in-store execution improvements.
