Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher in Electrical/Electronics or related technical field.
• 15+ years in a high reliability space parts selection role using NASA/DoD/ESA/AEC/vendor drawings.
• Knowledge of space environment effects on reliability of electronic systems.
• Familiar with handling and packaging requirements for electrical and electronic components.
• Ability to work independently and as part of an integrated team with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Interface with design engineers, commodity specialists, and vendor personnel to identify appropriate EEEE parts.
• Chair PCB meetings and review parts lists for compliance with NASA GSFC and project quality requirements.
• Review post-procurement evaluations prior to stocking and manage kitting and delivery of EEEE kits.
• Provide status of procurements and deliveries; develop screening and testing results for disposition.
• Travel domestically and internationally up to 10% in support of project responsibilities.
