Job summary

Astrion in Huntsville, AL is seeking an Information Security & Program Protection Planning Analyst to lead PPP development for DoD space programs, integrating security frameworks across satellite and ground systems and advising government stakeholders.

Required: a Bachelor's in information systems, cybersecurity, engineering or related field, 8+ years supporting DoD acquisition with focus on Program Protection, plus Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field (DoD substitutions allowed).
• 8+ years of DoD acquisition program experience focused on Program Protection, SSE, and Acquisition Security / Risk Management.
• Strong knowledge of DoDI 5200.39, DoDI 5000.02, AFPAM 63-113.
• Experience evaluating acquisition documentation and contractor deliverables.
• Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and update of PPPs per DoDI 5200.39, DoDI 5000.02, AFPAM 63-113.
• Support Space Sensing satellite programs with protection strategies.
• Ensure PPPs align with CPI and CC protection requirements.
• Analyze inputs from CISP, ITA, STAR, OPSEC and translate into protections.
