Job summary

Draper seeks a Senior GN&C Engineer to develop embedded software and advanced guidance, navigation, and control algorithms for space and defense systems. You will design, validate, and deploy real-time GN&C software across earth, air, and space environments.

Responsibilities include evaluating requirements, designing algorithms, and communicating deliverables to stakeholders, with an emphasis on mission success and rigorous testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace or electrical engineering (required).
• Masters or PhD in a related field preferred.
• 5-10 years of software engineering or related experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develops embedded software based on prototype algorithms.
• Designs and analyzes GN&C algorithms for space/defense systems.
• Evaluates requirements and documents design and test results.
• Communicates with customers and stakeholders to describe deliverables.
• Tracks priorities, scope, schedule, and cost.
