Job summary

Draper seeks a Senior Guidance and Control Engineer in Cambridge, MA to develop software for space and defense systems and internal R&D projects. You will design and deploy advanced G&C algorithms and real-time software for complex environments including air, underwater, ground, and space.

The role requires 5–10 years of software engineering experience, a Bachelor’s in Aerospace or Electrical Engineering (Masters/PhD preferred), and the ability to obtain a government security clearance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Electrical Engineering required.
• Masters or PhD preferred.
• 5–10 years of software engineering experience required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (Secret preferred).
• Experience with real-time algorithms and embedded software.

Responsibilities

• Develop tests and validate performance against requirements.
