Job summary

E‑Space in Texas is seeking a Senior Structures Analyst to own the structural analysis backbone of the Integrated Antenna Structure team. You will develop and maintain the integrated FEM of the deployed antenna assembly, perform modal, static and dynamic analyses, and ensure margins flow from system to component levels.

On‑site in Texas preferred with California as an alternative. Responsibilities include model‑test correlation, deployment analysis, and risk assessment of design changes.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with flight/high‑reliability hardware and margin of safety calculations.
• Proficiency in FEA for modal, static and linear dynamics.
• Experience with deployment dynamics and large deployable structures.
• Ability to build and maintain a system‑level integrated FEM from multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the integrated FEM of the deployed assembly and incorporate subsystem stiffness and mass properties.
• Perform deployed‑state structural performance analysis: modal survey, static deflection, margin of safety verification.
• Develop and maintain the structural requirements allocation from system to component level (stiffness, mass, CTE).
• Lead model‑test correlation at all levels of the V&V pyramid; update parameters from test data.
• Perform deployment analysis to support test predictions and verify geometry and dynamics.
• Assess structural risk of design changes and interface deviations; provide input to anomaly investigations.
• Develop and maintain the structural analysis error budget and track margin consumption.
