Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) seeks a Senior Acquisition Manager in El Segundo, CA to advise on space force programs, manage cost/schedule/performance of DoD acquisitions, and coordinate with leadership.

You will consolidate inputs from internal and external stakeholders, prepare briefings, and support acquisition planning, market research, and space-focused options and strategies. This role requires TS/SCI clearance, 15+ years of experience, and a full-time presence in El Segundo.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI eligibility at time of application.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Statistics
• Strong communication, planning, budgeting, and programming skills
• Ability to assess and consolidate technical and programmatic inputs from internal and external stakeholders
• Experience using TMT and MS Office Suite in a DoD or Space Force/Air Force environment
• Ability to work independently and manage high-visibility, time-sensitive actions
• Strong organizational, analytical, and coordination skills
• Ability to report to designated work location in El Segundo, up to full time, based on the needs of the customer

Responsibilities

• Support Space Force programs as acquisition and business operations advisor.
• Manage the cost, schedule, and performance of DoD acquisitions.
• Assess, develop, evaluate, and consolidate technical and programmatic inputs from internal and external stakeholders.
• Serve as liaison with Directorate Leadership and external offices.
• Prepare briefing slides for weekly leadership council meetings.
• Maintain appointment calendars and conference room schedules.
• Assist with acquisition planning documents and market research.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
