Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a Senior SOX Risk Advisor in San Diego to join the SRCO within FITG. You will drive readiness projects and advise on risk across multiple process areas, strengthening controls and protecting financial reporting integrity.

In this high-impact role, you will design and test controls, partner with owners, and leverage AI-enabled processes to enhance efficiency while maintaining audit readiness. Collaboration with Accounting, Finance, and Technology teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Big 4, risk consulting, or SOX exposure.
• CPA required; CIA/MBA are a plus.
• Willingness to travel to multiple offices (Atlanta, San Diego, Mountain View) 3x/week.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting risk and PCAOB requirements.
• Experience with AI tools and process transformation.

Responsibilities

• Advise control owners on SOX requirements, risk assessment, and control design.
• Lead readiness intake for new initiatives and AI-enabled processes.
• Develop project plans to deliver SOX readiness with effective controls.
• Draft RCMs with systems, tools, and providers.
• Design and execute testing to validate control evidence and scope.
• Support deficiency evaluation, root cause analysis, and remediation.
• Partner with owners to drive awareness of SOX protocols and strategy.
• Challenge design decisions to balance risk and business needs.
• Own initiatives and drive continuous control environment improvements.
• Cultivate relationships with Accounting, Finance, and Business leaders.
