Goodwin Recruiting is seeking an experienced Sous Chef for an upscale Downtown eatery. This role demands leadership, hands-on kitchen management, and the ability to train a team to execute high standards.

The candidate should be proficient in BOH procedures, inventory, scheduling, and event coordination, with a track record of improving line performance and maintaining quality across shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience in various kitchen positions.
• Minimum 1 year in upper kitchen leadership positions, such as Sous chef or manager.
• Strong communicator and trainer.
• Knowledge of proper laws and standards for all BOH procedures
• Be able to execute proper standards for all BOH positions
• Has trained and developed a team before.
• Has knowledge on weekly sales and P&L statements and objectives.
• Inventory, scheduling and managing events knowledge
