Job summary

Muckleshoot Casino Resort is seeking an experienced kitchen leader to plan and direct food preparation for assigned outlets, supervise cooks, and manage labor budgets. You will train staff, participate in interviewing candidates, and maintain menu knowledge to ensure top-notch plate presentation.

The role requires a solid kitchen background, the ability to cost recipes, and strong adherence to sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five years kitchen experience.
• Two years kitchen management.
• One year food ordering.
• Ability to obtain a Class III B gaming license.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct the food preparation for assigned outlets.
• Supervise cooks and ensure efficient use of excess items.
• Set schedules for kitchen staff to meet labor budgets.
• Develop and train kitchen personnel.
• Participate in interviewing new cooks for assigned outlets.
• Maintain menu knowledge and plate presentation.
• Assist in recipe costing and menu design/development.
• Ensure sanitation standards and proper inventory.
