Job summary

Waterford Hotel Group seeks a skilled Sous Chef to support daily culinary operations across its hotels. You will oversee a culinary team, manage inventory, budgeting, and purchasing, and help customize menus while hiring, training, and retaining top talent.

The ideal candidate has a culinary degree or equivalent extensive experience, demonstrated leadership, and a sharp eye for quality, cost control, and sanitation. This role requires travel and flexibility to work in multiple hotels.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree required or extensive culinary experience.
• Experience leading a culinary team.
• Budgeting and cost control experience.
• Ability to travel between hotels and multi-property operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day kitchen operations, staffing, training, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Ensure quality, consistency and creativity while optimizing resources.
• Produce and supervise Banquet and Restaurant menus.
• Oversee inventory, cost controls, and purchasing.
• Develop production sheets and schedules.
• Uphold food safety and sanitation standards.
• Maintain guest service standards and background check clearance.
