Job summary

Flik Hospitality Group is seeking a Senior Sous Chef to assist in the successful operation of the Culinary Department for a facility. You will supervise, prepare, and cook various items, develop daily menus, and work with the Executive Chef to create menus and assist with ordering.

This role offers an opportunity for an energetic culinary professional to contribute to high-volume operations, with focus on quality, cost controls, and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• A.O.S. degree in Culinary Arts or culinary certificate and required experience.
• Progressive culinary/kitchen management experience preferred.
• Catering experience a plus.
• High volume, complex foodservice operations experience desirable.
• Knowledge of food trends, quality, sanitation and cost controls.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Executive Chef with managing cost controls and expenditures for the account.
• Assists the Executive Chef with planning and creating menus.
• Produces and executes catering events.
• Rolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with Company marketing and culinary team.
