Job summary

Bon Appétit Management Company is seeking a Senior Sous Chef to support the Culinary Department in a high-volume facility. You will assist in supervision, preparation, and cooking, while helping develop menus and control costs to ensure quality servings.

The role emphasizes teamwork, food safety, and collaboration with the Executive Chef to deliver outstanding catering events and new culinary programs. Strong leadership and technical culinary skills are essential.

Qualifications

• A.O.S. Degree in Culinary Arts or culinary certificate and required experience.
• Progressive culinary/kitchen management experience is preferred.
• Experience in high-volume, complex foodservice operations is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of food cost controls, sanitation, and plating presentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervision, preparation, and cooking of food items.
• Support Executive Chef with menu planning and costing.
• Lead in catering events and culinary program rollouts.
