Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 6+ years of related sourcing, negotiating, category, & vendor management experience
• Experience with buying alliances required
• Independent interaction with senior leadership levels across an organization

Responsibilities

• Independently perform complex category/events with advanced understanding and oversee others.
• Collaborate with Category, In Stock and Private Brands teams to drive size and scale.
• Understand commodity market impacts and partner with strategists on contract implications.
• Maintain market surveillance and develop plans to gain competitive advantages.
• Negotiate supplier costs and contract terms; coordinate with Supply Chain.
