Job summary

Amazon is seeking a strategic Global Category Manager to lead sourcing, pricing, and supplier relationships for AWS hardware infrastructure. This role focuses on capacity planning, multi-sourcing strategies, and contracts to ensure supply chain resiliency as AWS expands its platform roadmap.

You will work with cross-functional teams, manage complex supplier agreements, and deliver updates to leadership. A Bachelor’s degree or MBA in a related field is preferred, with extensive experience in RFPs

• 6+ years of responding to requests for proposals (RFPs).
• 6+ years of Global Category Manager experience.
• Bachelor's degree or MBA in a relevant field (see qualifications).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for AWS hardware infrastructure.
• Negotiate and manage supplier agreements and contracts with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Provide weekly core-team updates and monthly executive updates; handle vendor escalations.
