Job summary

Air Transport Services Group Inc (ATSG) seeks a Sr Manager, Strategic Sourcing Lead- Engines, APU & Propulsion to build enterprise category management across engines, APUs and propulsion components. You will leverage analytics and responsible AI to reduce cost, improve supplier performance and keep aircraft available and safe.

The role requires 10+ years in strategic sourcing, aerospace experience, and leadership of procurement teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 10+ years of strategic sourcing or procurement experience, including 5+ years in aerospace, airline MRO or aviation aftermarket.
• Proven category-management results involving engines, APUs or propulsion systems.
• Experience negotiating long-term maintenance and engine-related agreements.
• Working knowledge of FAA requirements and AS9100/AS9120.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute multi-year strategies for engines, APUs and propulsion categories.
• Lead supplier segmentation, should-cost modeling and make/buy/repair analyses.
• Negotiate PBH, overhaul, leasing and component-support agreements.
• Establish spare-engine and pooling strategies.
• Report savings and cost-avoidance with executive analyses.
