Job summary

ATSG is seeking a Sr Manager, Strategic Sourcing Lead focusing on Structures & Mechanics to build and lead enterprise category management across aerostructures, interiors, hardware, and rotable components. You will leverage analytics and AI to drive cost reductions, supplier resiliency, and aircraft availability.

You will partner with Maintenance, Engineering, Materials, Fleet Planning and Finance to develop savings and decision-ready analyses, while mentoring a matrixed sourcing organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years in strategic sourcing or procurement, including 5+ in aerospace/aviation.
• Negotiation of long-term OEM/MRO agreements.
• Working knowledge of FAA requirements and AS9100/AS9120.
• Advanced data integration, financial and operational modeling.
• Responsible use of AI with validation and human oversight.
• Experience leading procurement teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute multi-year category strategies across aerostructures and related components.
• Segment suppliers, build should-cost models, and improve reliability and costs.
• Lead competitive sourcing and negotiate long-term agreements.
• Structure landing-gear inventory programs including VMI and kitting.
• Ensure FAA, DoD/CRAF, ITAR and DFARS compliance.
