Air Transport Services Group, Inc. seeks a Sr Manager, Strategic Sourcing Lead- Engines, APU & Propulsion to lead enterprise category management for engines, APUs, and propulsion components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of strategic sourcing or procurement experience, including 5+ years in aerospace, airline MRO or aviation aftermarket.
• Proven category-management results involving aircraft engines, APUs, propulsion systems or high-value aviation assets.
• Experience negotiating long-term maintenance agreements with OEMs/MRO providers.
• Working knowledge of FAA requirements and AS9100/AS9120.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute multi-year strategies for aircraft engines, including shop visits, LLPs, maintenance programs, leasing and spares.
• Lead supplier segmentation, should-cost models, and make/buy/repair analyses to improve reliability and asset utilization.
• Negotiate PBH, maintenance service, engine overhaul and component-support agreements.
• Establish spare-engine, lease and pooling strategies to support fleet growth.
• Lead and develop a matrixed sourcing organization and coach category managers.
