Job summary

US Tech Solutions is seeking a Senior Sourcing Specialist to lead assessment of opportunities, internal supply chains, and markets, and to develop, execute, and institutionalize the sourcing strategy.

The role requires a proven track record in sourcing and negotiating complex, high-value categories, independence, and the ability to resolve problems with minimal supervision. Hybrid work arrangement is offered with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5–10 years in supply chain.
• Certified Purchasing Manager and/or CPIM preferred.
• Experience with power plants and capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Strategy Development: develop sourcing strategies for complex, high-value materials, equipment, or services.
• Strategy Execution: create RFQs/Proposals and analyze supplier responses.
• Negotiation: negotiate with suppliers, driving cost avoidance and savings.
• Change Management: participate in change management for strategy implementation.
• Relationship Management: manage supplier relationships at a strategic level.
• Supplier Management: oversee post-award activities and POs, handle invoices and changes.
• Subject Matter Expertise: stay abreast of commodities, supply sources, and market conditions.
• Mentorship: provide assistance and cross-training to sourcing personnel.
