University Health is seeking an experienced procurement professional to source, procure, and contract for products, capital equipment and services.

You will collaborate with end users, Group Purchasing Organizations, and Contract Management to deliver best value, coordinate competitive solicitations, analyze complex contracts, and ensure compliance with contract terms. Five years of contracting experience and hospital purchasing background are preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor degree in business, procurement or related field required.
• Five years of contracting or sourcing experience required.
• Three years of increasingly complex contracts and public procurement experience preferred.
• Three years of healthcare and hospital purchasing experience preferred.

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs various basic and advanced duties essential to sourcing, procurement, and the establishment of contracts for products, capital equipment, and services for University Health and assures system-wide best value is achieved and maintained. Responsible for managing sourcing, procurement, and contract documents in collaboration with end users, Group Purchasing Organizations, and Contract Management in alliance with contract compliance and expense reduction initiatives. Performs work of considerable difficulty related to the coordination, preparation, competitive solicitation; analytics and negotiation of complex contracts and agreements. Reviews terms and conditions submitted by vendors for conflict with University Health'sterms and conditions. Administers contracts after award to ensure compliance with the terms and conditions of the contracts. Performs duties promptly and efficiently and complies with University Health and departmental policies. Maintains good guest and working relations.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor degree in business, procurement or other related field required. Five years of contracting or sourcing experience is required. Three years of increasingly complex contracts and public procurement experience is preferred. Three years of healthcare and hospital related purchasing experience is preferred.
