Job summary

Federal Express Corporation in Memphis is seeking a skilled maintenance technician responsible for maintaining and repairing all package sorting and container handling equipment in the Memphis hub and field stations. You will ensure electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems operate to FedEx standards.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and at least six years of related maintenance experience, with at least two years on FedEx sort systems or similar

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six (6) years maintenance experience, including 24 months as FedEx sort systems technician or 24 months of maintenance on similar equipment.
• Background in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic & materials handling systems maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all package sorting and container handling equipment at the Memphis hub and field stations.
• Follow established FedEx maintenance procedures for electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
• Work in variable shifts and adhere to safety standards and procedures.
