Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of fulltime experience in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Prior teaching or training experience is highly desirable.
• Bachelor's degree required as part of the education prerequisites.
• Current registration/certification from a recognized sonography credentialing agency; specialty certs may be required.
• BLS or ACLS certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, lecture, and evaluate students across lab, clinical, and didactic settings.
• Supervise and mentor students during skill practice and examinations.
• Maintain accurate documentation of student performance and activities.
• Collaborate with program leadership to update course materials and policies.
• Pursue ongoing professional development to stay current in the field.
• Communicate openly with the program director to address challenges.
