Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Sonographer Clinical Practitioner in Boston, MA. This role provides advanced clinical support by delivering accurate preliminary ultrasound reports and coordinating with radiologists and referring providers to maintain timely interpretations.

The position requires an associate degree, RDMS, 5–8 years of experience, and BLS. You will mentor staff, participate in QA, and help standardize imaging protocols while supporting accreditation and onboarding.

Formación

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Registered Sonographer (RDMS) required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• 5-8 years of related work experience.
• Proficient in varied Ultrasound exams including Doppler and Color Doppler.
• New hires will have 30 days to provide BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Experience with computer systems including web-based applications and Microsoft Office.

Responsabilidades

• Assists in planning, scheduling assignments, and coordinates the daily work of staff sonographers, students and aides.
• Participates in development of new tests by performing comparison studies and clinical trials.
• Assists in developing quality control procedures and instructs sonographers on technical aspects of their routine use.
• Assists in clinical teaching of staff and student sonographers and evaluating their performance.
• Troubleshoots technical or mechanical problems and coordinates with service engineers/vendors as needed.
