Qualifications

• Graduate from a CAAHEP accredited Sonography program.

Responsibilities

• Transfers and positions patients.
• Performs Ultrasound procedures in accordance with department standards and in keeping with the orders of the referring physician.
• Demonstrates knowledge of Ultrasound protocols and applies principles to work.
• Interviews patients for pertinent medical history and obtains consents prior to studies.
• Uses sterile technique and prevents cross-contamination.
• Orders and maintains supplies at an acceptable level in assigned area as needed.
