Job summary

Ghostrock, a Federal Government Contractor, seeks a U.S. Navy Sonar Technician to provide technical support and engineering services to the Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center in Norfolk, VA.

The role requires an Active Secret clearance, a high school diploma, and at least five years of hands-on experience with the AN/SQQ-89 sonar system and related equipment. Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required or ability to obtain/maintain.
• 5+ years hands-on troubleshooting, evaluation, repair and general experience with the AN/SQQ-89 Sonar System and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assessment/inspection support, engineering and technical services, and program/logistics support for AN/SQQ-89 and associated equipment/subsystems both ship-based and land-based sites.
