AireSpring, a leading provider in next-gen telecom and SaaS networking solutions, seeks a senior-level Sales Solutions Engineer. This high-visibility role involves shaping revenue strategies across services like SD-WAN, UCaaS, CCaaS, Security, and Cloud Connectivity, replacing a deeply experienced predecessor.

This position is ideal for a dynamic professional thriving in a fast-paced, partner-driven sales environment. You will serve as the technical backbone of the sales team, architect solutions, develop proposals, and translate technical needs into scalable implementations.

What You’ll Do
  • Act as the key technical advisor to Account Executives and Channel Partners, managing the technical aspects of the sales cycle from discovery through implementation.
  • Design custom network and cloud solutions for diverse customer verticals.
  • Engage with customers and partners for technical deep-dives, requirements gathering, and whiteboarding.
  • Create sales collateral such as diagrams, solution documents, and technical presentations.
  • Respond to RFPs/RFIs, lead demos, and support trials to demonstrate technical fit.
  • Deliver webinars, product trainings, and sales enablement content in collaboration with Marketing and Product teams.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Support teams to improve offerings based on field feedback.
  • Support post-sales handoff with documentation and onboarding to ensure smooth transition.
  • Represent AireSpring at industry events to promote brand and solutions.
Must-Have Experience & Skills
  • 5+ years in pre-sales, sales engineering, or solutions architect roles in telecom, managed services, or SaaS/SD-WAN environments.
  • Strong relationships and credibility with key Technology Solutions Distributors (TSDs).
  • Design and support solutions using:
    • SD-WAN technologies: VMware/VeloCloud, Fortinet, etc.
    • Firewalls: Fortinet, Cisco, Juniper, etc.
    • CPE: Cisco, Adtran, Juniper.
    • WAN & last mile: Fiber, Copper, LTE, Satellite.
    • Routing & Switching: TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, HSRP/VRRP/GLBP.
    • SIP Trunking: SSCA certification a plus.
    • UCaaS & Hosted PBX: Cisco, MetaSwitch, Microsoft Teams.
    • Cloud: AWS, Azure, GCP.
    • CCaaS and Hosted Agent Platforms.
    • Legacy PSTN, DID, Analog/Fax support.
    • IPsec VPN setup and troubleshooting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent presenter with strong communication skills, capable of explaining technical solutions to diverse audiences.
  • Skilled in solution documentation, client training, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ownership-driven with problem-solving and consultative selling skills.
  • Ability to work independently remotely while collaborating with dispersed teams.
