Job summary

GFT seeks a Senior Solutions Engineer, Asset Management to join our GIS and Asset Management Services team. This hybrid role blends onsite and remote work, focusing on delivering asset-management solutions, configuring products, and managing client relationships across multiple geographies.

You will lead migrations, design workflows, provide user support, and translate client requirements into robust configurations, with emphasis on collaboration and technical excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science or a related field.
• 8+ years of asset management product configuration and administration.
• 5+ years with Esri desktop and online software suites.
• 3+ years engineering solutions for clients.
• Understanding of asset management principles and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; solid data management knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery and engineering of asset management solutions.
• Configure and maintain asset management products to client requirements.
• Manage relationships with asset management solution vendors.
• Configure and implement APIs, data structures, and database management solutions.
• Lead migration and upgrade projects including data validation and testing.
• Develop and manage service requests, work orders, inspections, and workflows.
• Provide user support, troubleshoot issues, and document solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into system configurations.
• Assist in testing, training, and go-live support for upgrades.
• Develop and deliver client presentations to support pursuits and delivery.
• Maintain system documentation, configuration standards, and best practices.
• Research new products, software, vendors and implementation strategies.
• Support asset management programs across disciplines.
• Design cohesive user interfaces prioritizing user experience.
• Communicate effectively with solution engineers and clients.
