Job summary

GFT is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer, Asset Management to support our GIS and Asset Management Services team. This hybrid-remote role involves occasional onsite attendance at local offices or client sites and collaboration on geospatial projects to improve data management and insights.

You will drive technical delivery, configure asset management products, and manage vendor relationships while guiding migrations, tests, and go-live activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, CS or related field.
• 8+ years asset management product configuration and administration.
• 5+ years with Esri's desktop and online software suites.
• 3+ years engineering solutions for clients.
• Understanding of asset management principles and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of software application and data management principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery and engineering of asset management solutions.
• Configure and maintain asset management products to client requirements.
• Manage relationships with asset management solution vendors.
• Configure and implement APIs, data structures, and database management solutions.
• Lead migration and upgrade projects including data validation and testing.
• Develop, configure and manage service requests and workflows.
• Provide user support and document solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into configurations.
• Assist in testing, training and go-live support for upgrades.
• Develop and deliver client presentations to support pursuits and delivery.
• Maintain system documentation and best practices.
• Research new products, software, vendors and strategies.
• Support asset management programs across disciplines.
