Job summary

Algolia is seeking a Solutions Engineer in Australia to drive technical pre‑sales relationships, demonstrate the product, and deliver consultative solutions that align with customer goals. Qualifications

• Strong ability to explain complex technical concepts to a broad audience.
• 4+ years in a customer-facing technical role in SaaS.
• Frontend experience: JavaScript, TypeScript, React.
• Backend experience: Java, Ruby, Go, Node, Python, Swift/Obj-C.
• Experience with data modeling and enrichment.
• Excellent spoken and written communication.
• Experience delivering technical presales workshops.
• Experience with channel partners such as SIs or ISVs.
• Strong organizational skills across multiple customers.

Responsibilities

• Work with Sales Teams and prospects on evaluation and adoption of Algolia solutions.
• Qualify customer goals with KPIs and articulate Algolia’s ability to meet them.
• Assist in the Sales process including discovery, demo, POC, and RFP responses.
• Assist in partner-led sales motions including enablement and RFPs.
• Deliver occasional partner onboarding webinars and platform introductions.
• Develop custom search applications leveraging Algolia ecosystem.
• Advocate customer interests to Product and Engineering teams.
• Keep up with industry trends and contribute thought leadership.
• Coordinate with Solution Architects and Customer Success for post-sales onboarding.
