Job summary

1Password is seeking a Principal Solutions Engineer, Acceleration, to define how emerging technologies enter the market. You’ll work with Product, Enablement, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and strategic customers to validate capabilities and turn field feedback into repeatable motions.

You’ll drive technical validation, build messaging frameworks, and deliver enablement while partnering across teams to shape go‑to‑market direction in a remote, US/Canada environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles within enterprise B2B SaaS.
• Experience translating emerging technologies into customer value and repeatable field motions.
• Experience partnering with Product Management, Engineering, Product Marketing, and other teams to validate capabilities and incorporate feedback.
• Strong executive communication, storytelling and presentation skills across technical and business audiences.
• Deep knowledge of modern identity architectures and developer or AI-powered workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical validation for emerging products and incubating technologies from development through GA.
• Partner with PM, PMM, and Engineering to shape product direction from field feedback.
• Build repeatable discovery frameworks, demonstrations, technical messaging, reference architectures, and implementation guidance.
• Design and deliver technical enablement including workshops, labs, and playbooks.
• Lead strategic customer engagements, private previews, beta programs, and early-adopter initiatives with executive guidance.
• Represent 1Password through executive briefings, conferences, and industry content.
• Mentor Solutions Engineers and scale adoption across the organization.
