Job summary

A strategic technology partner located in the San Jose area is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to design and develop IAM solutions. The role requires a deep understanding of Java and experience with IAM products. Ideal candidates will have over 8 years in IT and 5 years in product development, along with excellent communication and multitasking skills. This is a long-term contract position lasting over 12 months, providing a unique opportunity to work closely with customers and enhance best practices in technology solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in the IT industry.
• Minimum of 5 years of product development experience.
• Experience with IAM products is highly desirable.

Job Description

Position: Senior Solutions Engineer

Location: San Jose, CA

Duration: 12+ months Contract

Responsibilities

• Working with the team to design and develop IAM integrations and solutions
• Defining technical and business requirements for IAM solutions
• Interacting with customers, team members and on-shore consultants to develop IAM solutions
• Actively contributing to the IP Dev organization’s development of best practices around software development life cycle and secure development principles

Qualifications

• Experience in Java, J2EE related technologies, databases (Oracle, SQL Server), scripting (shell, perl), LDAP directories
• Proven track record with 8+ years of experience in the IT industry
• Minimum of 5 years of product development experience
• Experience with working with IAM products is highly desirable- Ping, RSA, SailPoint and/or CA experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to work and contribute in a team oriented environment
• Perform under pressure
• Demonstrated multitasking skills in a fast-paced, unstructured environment
• Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
