Job summary

ENSCO, Inc. is hiring a Solutions Architect for the Space Force ground system program. The role focuses on next‑generation ground systems built on commercial cloud architectures with multi‑band antennas, enabling agile satellite operations.

The ideal candidate has an active TS/SCI clearance, deep experience with DoD ground systems, cybersecurity, and system‑of‑systems engineering. This is a full‑time, on‑site position in Colorado Springs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher with 10+ years in IT/cybersecurity or DoD-related roles.
• Knowledge of risk management processes and security practices.
• Experience with DoD/DoC ground systems and secure networks.
• Understanding of software engineering and cybersecurity in gov projects.
• Familiarity with Zero Trust in DoD environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems engineering and integration support for satellite communications networks.
• Perform architecture analysis, requirements decomposition, and test planning.
• Evaluate designs, conduct trade studies, and support cyber operations planning.
• Develop system-of-systems approaches, including networks, databases, and software.
• Interface with government leadership and manage roadmap development.
• Assist in on-premise and cloud-based ground system interfaces.
• Contribute to antenna-as-a-service architectures and related solutions.
