Senior Solutions Architect, Security

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Client Facing Sales Support – partner with sales account teams, engage directly with clients, build trusted advisor relationships, and identify business challenges to propose solutions.
- Client facing work will include:
- Advising clients on integrating the Six Security Domains (Infrastructure Security; Data & Application Security; Intelligence & Analytics; Threat & Vulnerability Management; Identity and Access Management; and Program Strategy & Operations) across infrastructures and business processes.
- Advising on key security risks and proposing remediation strategies.
- Guiding on industry standards such as PCI DSS, ISO, SOX, GLBA, HIPAA, FISMA and NIST frameworks.
- Assessing security implications for new technology introductions.
- Develop High Level Designs and Architectures – create documented solutions that facilitate smooth hand‑off from presales to delivery.
- Create Proposals – develop BOMs, product quotes, SOWs, LOUs, business cases and RFP responses.
- Sales Planning – work with management and sales teams to prioritize accounts and support long‑term trusted relationships.
- Partner Relationship Management – build healthy relationships with key partners in assigned regions.
- Consulting – provide project oversight on significant client projects, including kickoff meetings and milestone reviews.
- Intellectual Property Development – contribute to Sirius intellectual property through white papers, speaking engagements and other industry recognition activities.
- Administrative Overhead – handle emails, phone calls, time cards, expense reports and status reports efficiently.
- Training – develop and execute a professional plan to enhance technical and professional skills.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.
- At least eight (8) years of IT experience in a security‑focused role.

- Articulate technical viewpoints to diverse audiences, including technical and business decision makers.

- Multitask and prioritize workload under tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Develop long‑range project plans and schedules for complex projects or new solution development.
- Transfer technical skills and knowledge to clients.

- Leadership, delegation, and personnel management skills.
- Communication and presentation skills for both large and small audiences.
- Work independently with minimal direction.
- Technical writing experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least four (4) years of pre‑sales engineering and/or sales experience in a systems integrator, OEM, or similar environment.
- Security certifications such as CISSP and relevant industry certifications.
- Four (4) years of billable consulting experience.
- Four (4) years leading teams in a client or consulting project environment.
- Four (4) years managing relationships with security vendor partners.
- Experience selling and delivering multi‑million dollar enterprise‑size, complex projects.
- Experience with cloud and cloud security technologies, including XaaS.
Data Privacy and Security
- All Sirius employees must safeguard information and systems, complying with Sirius policies, standards, and procedures related to security and reporting security violations to the appropriate authority.
- All employees participate at hire and annually in Information Security Awareness training; additional regulatory training may be required based on role or assignment.
Essential Functions
The role provides presales technical consulting solutions, requiring travel to and from customer sites and regular client interaction.
