Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Solutions Architect to support US Government customers in the DC Metro / Fort Meade, MD area. You will help Intelligence Community agencies implement cloud solutions and guide architectures.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in tech, a relevant degree, and TS/SCI with polygraph clearance. You will partner with sales and engineering to design scalable, secure AWS architectures and drive adoption.

Qualifications

10+ years of technology domain experience (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
Associate's degree or above required.
Current, active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.

Responsibilities

Formulate and execute a sales strategy with the team to exceed revenue objectives through AWS adoption.
Build and migrate applications, software, and services on the AWS platform with the sales team.
Educate customers on AWS value and participate in deep architectural discussions for successful cloud deployment.
Conduct training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or using AWS.
Capture and share best-practice knowledge within the AWS solutions architect community.
Contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers and reusable content.
Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals to enable cloud advocacy.
