Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Solutions Architect SME to lead architectural direction for the Chinook Program. You will work across software, systems, DevSecOps, cloud, cybersecurity, and data to ensure secure, scalable, and sustainable solutions for mission-critical capabilities. Active Top Secret/SCI with poly is required.

You will influence decisions across teams, communicate architecture to senior stakeholders, and mentor engineers while driving modernization and reducing technical debt.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing and delivering mission-critical applications.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into executable technical solutions.
• Experience leading cross-functional engineering, security, and ops teams.
• Strong communication with senior government stakeholders and program leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve end-to-end solution architecture across app, cloud, data, integration, security, and infrastructure.
• Translate requirements into secure, scalable technical solutions.
• Develop architecture roadmaps, reference architectures, and trade studies.
• Provide technical direction and resolve cross-team issues to align with standards.
• Lead cloud and DevSecOps architecture efforts including CI/CD, IaC, observability, and DR.
• Integrate security and mission assurance from development through deployment.
• Support Agile/SAFe execution and architecture runway development.
• Define integration strategies and API/Interface standards.
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering excellence.
