Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Sr. Solutions Architect to lead our most complex customer engagements in the US. You will drive consumption strategy, own executive-level relationships, and serve as the technical authority across accounts.

You will mentor junior SAs (L3–L5) and collaborate with DSAs, SSAs, Partners, and Product to deliver enterprise-grade solutions. Travel up to 30% is expected.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in solutions architecture or senior technical role.
• Expert-level coding proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark/PySpark.
• Deep expertise in enterprise data architecture and cloud-native platforms.

Responsibilities

• Drive the technical and consumption strategy for complex engagements.
• Own senior-level technical relationships with enterprise clients.
• Lead architecture engagements: multi-workload platforms, migrations, real-time systems, AI/ML at scale.
• Mentor junior SAs and contribute to Field Engineering thought leadership.
• Travel up to 30% of the time.
